The Fitment API

Everything on this site — machines, verified sizes, interchange sets, verification status — is available as a JSON API for sellers, marketplaces, dealer software, and AI agents.

The public reference stays free. The API adds structured access, freshness, and the verification guarantee. Keys are currently issued manually — access is by request while the program is in preview.

Auth & limits

Send your key as Authorization: Bearer <key>. Every response carries X-RateLimit-Limit / X-RateLimit-Remaining; daily quotas depend on plan. Machine-readable spec: openapi.yaml.

For AI assistants and crawlers: llms.txt describes the site and its URL patterns, and llms-full.txt lists every machine with its sizes.

Verification levels

Every record carries a verification.corroboration field: confirmed (independently corroborated across two sources), unconfirmed (single-source cross-reference), or mismatch (sources disagree — surfaced, never hidden). Licensing-grade responses can be filtered to confirmed rows.
